Hey Pigs, here we go again! Going to try a new Parlay game for the Playoffs! See the rules below for all the details!
Week 4 Recap: See the Standings and Recap sheet to see how everyone did during the fourth week of action. Hawkoholic was our top point-getter this week to take home the weekly prize picking up 42 Points while we had an amazing 9 players hit one card with the 5X Bonus to pick up 35 Points. We had 13 players pick up points this week overall, which is pretty darn good!!
Congrats to Killer for taking our top spot by a single tie-breaker point over Dukemyster with third place going to Firebird 4. Best Combined Percentage went to Hawkoholic who closed out super strong to take the spot away from Killer.
One key stat to take away is that Hawkoholic went 12-12 on his first card in the game, that deserves a Tip of the Cap, nice work!!
Hopefully everyone had fun playing some extra Parlay action with a twist into the playoffs.
Please check out the Standings sheet for the Playoff Payouts. We got a great response with 35 players so decided to do weekly payouts and added a Best Combined Percentage prize too. We will pay the top 3 spots based on points with total tiebreaker points used to determine point total ties.

WEEK 18 RECAP: 2-WAY SPLIT FOR WEEKLY PRIZE & ZOMTOM WINS HIS 3RD PARLAY MASTER CROWN!
Week 18, saw Fubar (1-4/6-6) & Nelly (2-4/6-6) split the final weekly prize. Both players picked up 52 points but it wasn't enough for either of them to crack to the Top 5. Zomtom (3-4/3-4) was soild especially tough down the stretch and claimed his 3rd title with a point total of 195! Altar Boys (3-4/5-6) held onto 2nd place with 143 points and 45 tie-breaker points with another solid week. Mr. Wiz-Bang (3-4/4-6) claimed sole possession of 3rd place by edging out Pigskinologist (2-4/1-3), both players also had 143 points but Wiz beat Pigskin by one single tie-breaker point, 43-42. The fifth and final spot went to Sneads ((1-4/1-6) with 130 points.
Unfortunatley a few players made the Ah-Shit list this week but I'm not going to call out Killer (0-4/2-8) and Hawkoholic (0-4/4-8) since it's the end of the year and the last thing anyone should see is the names of players who couldn't win a single game on the last card of the year. So enough said on that, we will bring back the "Ah-Shit" list next year.
The Best Percentage race has been won by Altar Boys with a very impressive 62.5% win rate. Congrats on his win with 2 games to spare.
This brings us to the end of another great year of the Pigskin Parlay! Thanks again for playing and for those who can't get enough, keep your eye out for an email in the next day or so for a "Parlay" like game to take us through the Super Bowl for those interested. The email will have all the details
For those of you in town the SFL-Pigskin Parlay Payouts Party will be held on Saturday, January 31st beginning at 3:30 PM. I will confirm time and location in the email with Final results and Payouts early next week.
The Rules are available below if you forgot any of the fine details, main thing to remember is both Cards must submitted at the same time, no partial cards are excepted and Cards must be submitted prior to the start of any games played on your parlay cards!
Pigskin Weekly Recap. I will be doing this again each week right below the Parlay Standings I will post the picks for all the players along with my correction/scoring recap. Now it is in my shorthand for recording of scores (including LMS picks) but you will be able to see how all the player's picked for the week, I hope you find it interesting. You'll notice I log the time the picks come in, if the player rolls picks you'll see an arrow, if they add, I use the "+" sign. The slash through a number is a correct pick and the numbers in RED next to the players name is my shorthand for the scoring of each player prior to me entering it in to the EXCEL spreadsheet each week. That's pretty much it.
The 18th Card of the season, "The Final Card" is now UP!!! Happy New Years!!!!
