WEEK 2: ANOTHER SPLIT POT - JIMMY MAC & BIXBY LEAD THE WEEK!!!
Week 2 was tough for a majority of us pig-people but Jimmy Mac & Bixby hit front sides to both pick up 13 points and split the weekly prize. We are now at 53 players this year, up 3 from last year, nice!
I know it's early but we are already using tie-breaker points to separate players, remember that first card is important. Ty Dolla & Bixby are our early leaders in both the standings and Best Percentage (87.5%...unreal!). Hey we have just 16 weeks left to go, that's right, 11.1% of the season is over!
After the second week of action I'm unable to announce we don't have any "Ah-Shit" Cards, we have several. Zamoron (0-0, 0-6) leads the way with a tough 2 sided O-fer week, it happens. Nice to get it out of the way early. Newcomer Big Griz (0-0, 2-8) makes his first appearance in this section but he's joined by some "grizzled" veterans, Great Scott (0-0, 4-7), Cinco DeLaro (0-0, 1-6) and our reigning Parlay Master Mr. Wiz-Bang (0-0, 2-4). Hey the Commish needed Baker to work his magic at the end of the Tampa game to avoid hanging out here, whew!!
Remember that the card does not have Thursday Games (College or Pro) except for Thanksgiving and when get to the end of the season, including bowl games.
Finally, if you still have friends who want in please contact me and we will get them signed up and ready to play, they won't qualify for Best Percentage but they can still win it all.
The Rules are available below if you forgot any of the fine details, main thing to remember is both Cards must submitted at the same time, no partial cards are excepted and Cards must be submitted prior to the start of any games played on your parlay cards!
Pigskin Weekly Recap. I will be doing this again each week right below the Parlay Standings I will post the picks for all the players along with my correction/scoring recap. Now it is in my shorthand for recording of scores (including LMS picks) but you will be able to see how all the player's picked for the week, I hope you find it interesting. You'll notice I log the time the picks come in, if the player rolls picks you'll see an arrow, if they add, I use the "+" sign. The slash through a number is a correct pick and the numbers in RED next to the players name is my shorthand for the scoring of each player prior to me entering it in to the EXCEL spreadsheet each week. That's pretty much it.
The third card of the 2025-26 season will be up on Friday by noon!
If you have any questions please TEXT ME, it's that time of year I don't pick up the call because I normally don't carry around the recap sheet. So if you need to talk, send a text, I will call you back ASAP.
